Your gift to The Well Life Foundation provides a few things:

Job training scholarships for low income women.

This job training provides them with the tools they need to launch a successful small business as coaches, community leaders, or instructors. When our awardees complete their training in Dragontree Life Coaching, they’re ready to see clients immediately. And when clients complete the optional in-person training, they are eligible to apply to work with The Dragontree Spas as a life coach. For a select few we even fund travel expenses to the in-person training – because what good is the scholarship if you can’t get there?

Small Business Start Up Grants.

Our support doesn’t end after the training. We know it takes money to make money, and we’re committed to helping our awardees finish the journey after their training is complete. That’s why we fund small business start up grants, to help low income coaches build websites, market their new businesses, and find clients. Beyond the funding necessary to launch a new business, we also provide awardees with practical input on getting started, so they can go the distance and launch their successful small business.

Community Project Grants.

Graduates of our Illuminator program are a special bunch. They love the world, and are dedicated to making a real difference in their communities. That’s why we created the Community Project Grant program. We fund great ideas that serve the community and the world.

In addition to the funding we provide, we also help Community Project Grantees develop their project fully, build community partners, get the word out about their project, and apply for additional funding through guided grant writing.

Since we only fund projects submitted by those who’ve completed our in-person training, we know them all, and have a higher level of trust that our limited funds are going to people and projects with a great chance of success, backed by those with true integrity.

Our Illuminators Give Back!

Graduated Illuminators work with The Well Life Foundation to provide free coaching to low income women. This work is provided 100% by volunteers! They do it because they know this work is often least accessible to those who stand to benefit the most. It’s a labor of love, and we love them for it.

Our Funding

Because of the incredible generosity of The Dragontree, 100% of profits from the Life Coaching training program are donated to The Well Life Foundation. At present, most of our operating funds come from this donation. Keeping operating costs as low as possible (we only have one full time employee!) allows us to do a lot with a little; but it doesn’t do everything.

We know you WANT to help. Over and over, you’ve told us THIS is the kind of work you want to fund. So what does it take to do it?

  • A donation of $400 provides a full Dragontree Life Coaching scholarship to a student in need.
  • A donation of $600 provides a full tuition waiver to Illuminator training.
  • A donation of $1500 covers travel expenses for a student in need to Boulder, CO for in-person training.

We fund Small Business Startup Grants and Community Project Grants on a case by case basis, and that means LOTS of us, pulling together towards one goal.

We invite you to join us in this incredible work. You know the need is great – it’s all around you, and that can feel daunting. Taking one step today will help.

Come with us on this journey by donating today. You won’t be sorry.
